ePLDT Ventus and SPi Global Solutions

In July of 2006, ePLDT, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), acquired 100% of the shares of SPi, a leading BPO provider with 29 locations across North America, Europe, and Asia and over 14,000 employees worldwide.

In April 2008, ePLDT functionally merged SPi with ePLDT Ventus to form SPi Global Solutions.

Combining ePLDT Ventus’ expertise on inbound and outbound voice services, SPi’s 28-year history of successful content outsourcing, and PLDT's operating scale and financial strength, SPi Global Solutions has become one of the world's most comprehensive BPO companies. ePLDT Ventus is now able to offer a full roster of high quality, innovative, knowledge process outsourcing and customer interaction services for Fortune 500 companies.

In January 2010, a consolidated management team structure responsible for both SPi Technologies, Inc. and ePLDT Ventus, Inc. was formed. This enlarged group synergizes the strengths and resources of our voice and non-voice BPO companies to enable SPi Global Solutions to provide a wider offering of integrated, top quality outsourced services to the global market.
