ePLDT Ventus Iloilo, in cooperation with the Iloilo City government, organized a tree planting activity in Barangay Tacas, Jaro, Iloilo City. After three postponements due to rain, forty-four dedicated employees endure the heat to plant 100 mahogany seedlings along the streets of the barangay last August 21, 2005. The event was organized with the assistance of the Mayor's Office, the City Agriculturist's Office and the Barangay Tacas officials. After the last seedling was planted, everyone proceeded to Breakthough Restaurant in Villa, for a well-deserved lunch.
